Nar Phu Valley and Kang La Pass Trek
The Nar Phu Valley is a remote part of the Annapurna region, near Manang. It was opened to trekkers in 2003 and is still one of the least visited areas of Nepal. The valley is known for its Tibetan culture, old monasteries, and beautiful mountain landscapes.

The villages of Nar and Phu are the main settlements in the valley. People here live a traditional lifestyle. They herd yaks, farm their fields, and follow Tibetan Buddhist traditions. Life has changed very little over the centuries.

This trek takes you into a restricted area where culture and nature come together. After visiting Nar and Phu, you will cross the Kang La Pass (5,322 m). This is one of the most scenic high passes in the Annapurna region, with wide views of the Annapurna range and other Himalayan peaks.
